Your source for information about hosting a charity golf tournament.

Got my tournament up and running. I'm calling it the Peoria Arizona Chamber of Commerce $10 Million  Shootout'. When I came up with that name I had found a webpage for an insurer who specifically offered coverage for 10 golfers to each shoot for a $1M prize. Now I can't find that and no one else that I have talked to knows where to get coverage. Any ideas?

Getting an insurer for 10 golfers shooting for the prize may be kind of expensive. Most figure the risk at a single golfer taking one shot. Ten shots could be ten times more expensive. It's more affordable to whittle the last 10 golfers down to one shooter for the million. I'm not sure a regular hole-in-one insurer would insure for that. A local guy might, but probably not for a million. It would likely be down to the thousands or ten thousands for a prize. Don't know anyone that would take that risk. The later golfers would be able to adjust their shot depending on where the earlier golfers land and which way the ball rolls.
