The letter I received was for 2004 saturn vue's and their was a recall and the VTI's. I have a 2003 Vue with manual transmission I purchased used.Problem – On vehicles equipped with the 3.6L V6 and 6-speed automatic transmission, drivers may experience no reverse, slipping, and/or harsh shifting between One problem related to manual transmission has been reported for the 2004 Saturn VUE. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Waveplate broke and decimated the transmission. Led to total transmission failure, stranding me on the side of the road.
